Airtime Rewards offers cashback on purchases but is it worth using?
- Airtime Rewards gives customers cashback to spend on their phone bills
- The app claims it can eliminate some users mobile costs completely
- It works with most of the major phone networks including EE, O2 & Vodafone
A cashback app which lets users take money off their phone bill when they build up rewards says people can potentially earn enough to pay off their entire mobile bill each month.
Airtime Rewards, which has quietly gained more than half a million members, lets users get up to 10 per cent back on purchases at certain retailers with the savings then used to reduce their mobile bill.
It claims that most users save on average £10 a month through the free app and its retailer rewards programme but others earn much more.
The scheme is currently available on most major UK phone networks including Three, O2, Vodafone, EE and GiffGaff but those with smaller companies should check before signing up.
